Yes I swapped out the T56 for a 200-4R when the T56 gave up the ghost heading down 29 about 3 months ago. Realistically the car isnt ever gonna be autocrossed and I can have just as much fun on the street. The 200-4R is a TON easier on the drivetrain than the t56 and I will be well over the 600ft/lbs of torque so I dont think there will be any acceleration problems. I will probably lose 30 or so rwhp soaked up by the converter but it definately is outweighed by the benefits, like the possiblity of 9 second timeslips.
Plus a T56 is VERY expensive to be setup to handle 500+ hp for any period of time.
The cost isnt bad at all. If you do the swap yourself it isnt to bad. Probably about than what bobby is spending for his work. I might have 7k into including new suspension.

Sorry bro.
turbo and IC cost me 2700 bucks....
Right then add in 1k for suspension, some for the engine work you are getting done, and then if you had to replace your trans you would be close. not saying you are there but not to to far away plus all the other mod money you have spent. keep in mind it is every penny you have spent to upgrade your motor.
