1 guage? Little large dont you think? haha I used a flat head screw driver, a hammer and a set of channel locks to crimp mine.
I didnt accomplish much this weekend other than playing with the welder. It was fun though. The one thing I did get done was cutting mine passenger side bin so that the battery could fit and cutting the hole for the nitrous blow down tube. Oh and I cut a notch in the read divider so that the front of the nitrous bottle coul fit through to the front of the car so I can open and clos eit.

If the crimper is too small, the channellocks and hammer are plan #2

Looks good bobby. Hey if you want to put your bins back in give me a shout. I have the optima battery with a NHRA battery box in the same spot as yours and I got mine to fit. That was my fun this weekend.
Basically just cut the bin COMPLETELY out and you have the room. Maybe 1 hour to cut it and make it look clean not a hack job.

Thnats cool I like the bins out too.
Hey you may want to put the battery in a NHRA battery box. Once you start running the times I think you should be running they arent gonna be real happy about a battery in the passenger compartment.

I got mine from summitt. The problem is you can get one for cheaper but I wanted something that was NHRA certified. I had to modify it a little to fit under the bins and you have to drill a hole out for the gas vent.
Plus it aint going anywhere. Short of my entire floor board ripping out that battery isnt flying forward to hit me!!
