Every time I come to this thread I have more and more reason to forecast ignominious defeat and humiliation this season.

Congrats Bobby. I am hoping to get the tranny back this week. I still need to fab some stuff up and weld some **** in but I am getting there. BTW if people tell you a MIG welder wont weld stainless well they are full of ****. I am using some spare 16 guage stainless and it welds it like a champ, you just need the right sheilding gas.

Tom- You are still the fastest at this point. I have been nowhere near the 11's and Bobby has been in there either yet. Till we run in the 11's you are still the man. But I have to agree I think your title as the fastest slow guy is gonna be gone this season I will bet that Bobby beats it first.

Demetrious is coming over tomorrow night to check the car out and get it idleing and running so i can put some miles on it.

If all goes well, tunning this weekend.

I ordered two RCI 5point Camlock harnesses today

If the car is running hard this weekend, i might be drag racing soon

After tunning i will be broke for paint...I am going to have to go ghetto for a few weeks to work up the money..

Oh well, rather have a car that runs well then looks good.

Yeah who knows!

I might just blow something up on my first run (diff and tranny ) before i can get my times down. I doubt it will be running 11's first time out

Demetrious Came over tonight and we worked over the car a little bit. I didnt isolate the fuel pumps from metal and they were grounding out.

I am also going to make a slight change to the way the fuel lines are routed.

Now there will be two lines coming out of the tank. (one for each pump) I am going to use the charcole canister line for the second pump line. When it gets to the engine bay, the two feed lines will do directly into the primary and secondary fuel rails. They will then go to the FPR on either side. The return will be identical to the way it is now.

It is a safer way to run the lines.

Interesting. Sounds like a solid backup though. Are the stock lines still large enough to handle your engine? I guess yess with 2 supply lines.
