Do you know someone that does paint? I am trying to find someone I can trust but at the same time dont want to spend 3k for a paint job but then again I dont want the paint or the fitting to look like **** either. No show quality just a good solid job.
Im shopping around right now. I can have a friend at a dealership do it (ekkk i dont think so)

Creative colors is good. A tad pricey but i will most likley end up there.

I have heard that a quality paint job will cost you twice what you paid for the body peice. I bought a 400$ bumper so 800 bucks?

I have been quoted around 2-3k for the whole car but I would like to find something less than that.

I have mentioned this before but Mastercrafters in Rockville does all the collision work for Rockville Porsche Audi. Paint work they have done on two of my Audis (that i mistakenly let my assorted teenagers drive) has been flawless. Looks like the factory paint.

They quoted me a price of $500 to paint a new bumper on my RX-7, a bumper I never bought and they never saw so it was not a firm estimate, but I would imagine they are not cheap, but they are good.

$500 for a bumper is crazy. That is what I mean. Christ it probably costs $20 tops for the paint to paint a bumper. Then maybe 2-3 hours prep and paint time at say $65/hour. That is $150. Now I understand you need to make a profit but DAMN 300% profit?? Ridiculous.

I need to become friends with a auto body guy........
