--------------------> To answer your questions. You can make a rotar powered car push well over 1000hp if you have the money.

But lets be realistic.<-----------------------------
Read on smart guy. Notice how I said Rotor Powered Car. Not particular to an FD.

Now now ladies, lets not get worked up over nothin.

The fd is alot of fun and really performs like a dream. Even stock they are a hell of alot of fun. Bobby makes a very important point that modification on the Fd should be well thought out otherwise you will have a ton of headaches. The stangs are (i assume since I have never been an owner) just all around easier to beef up. Parts are a dime a dozen considering its domestic, I gotta assume that the block is pretty strong and can be beaten up on and not die on you. Plus they have all that low end torque. Almost every stang owner that I have been up against on the road do not like racing above 3-4 gear. I know a local guy with an older 5.0 supercharged running 14 psi pushing 500hp and he will not race me up to the top of 4th gear.

The fd has a really amazing top end. I can run down just about any c5 vette. I've beeb up to 168 and i had a bit more left when I backed off.

I will only say that the rx7 3rd gen is a great , car it just requires a smart and dedicated owner. If you just want a car to hop in a drive then it is not the car for you. Either way good luck and enjoy.

One of those cars doesnt belong there...... A Celica? Anyway. The point I think all these guys are trying to make is that if you want the total package (handling, style, power, and did I mention handling, style and power) Go with the FD.

BUT....... If you arent prepared to treat it like it owns you and not the other way around then go for one of the easier, everyday rides. *cough* mustang *cough*

All those cars can be fast, some of those cars can be sexy, ONE of those cars is all of the above.

But you said unbiased didnt you.
