I did a search on this and nothing helped. After reading and reading I came to the conclusion that all FD Rx-7's are turbocharged. I thought there was a base model that was not turbo(but i dont know). I have $15,000 for a car and the Supra turbo is too much $$. I have always loved the 7 though and I am currently looking for one in that price range. The 7 is a beautiful car and it's performance is just too damn impressive. Someone please tell me if there are only turbocharged RX-7's and if not, what are the specs for the base? thanks!

It appears that the "non turbo" FD is one of the biggest "myths/rumors" ever to circulate about the car. I get people asking me that all the time " Is yours the turbo or non-turbo model?" LOL

Then to compliment that question, people look at me like I'm retarded when I tell them I took out the twin turbo and put in just 1 turbo. "why did you do that?, was the car too fast for you" again LOL

93-95 Mazda RX-7

Intercooled Sequential Turbocharged

1307cc/80 ci/1.3L Twin Rotor Wankel

255 bhp @ 6500 rpm

217 lb-ft @ 5000 rpm

Electronic Fuel Injection

5spd Man. or 4spd Auto

Performance

(5 speed) 0-60 mph 5.0s

1/4 mile 13.9 s

60-0 mph 110 ft

skidpad .97 g

slalom 68 mph

City/Hwy 17/25 mpg

Those are some basic specs for all RX-7s, don't quote me on all the performance, I'm sure that some touring models which are a little heavier maybe a little slower. But this is all I know off the top of my head. And this counts for all FDs no matter what the model.
