My first car is a a 81 mazda Rx-7 and i was just wondering if there was anything i should know about them or how good of a car it is before i fix it up and drive it?

Welcome to nopistons! Always make sure the oil level is good and that the car is completely warmed up before shutting it down. If it's not warmed up it's prone to flooding the engine. Keep a set of spark plugs handy just in case it floods anyways lol

Cooling System is vital 1 overheat can ruin your engine and cost thousands

oil level is also vital

rev it up to redline once in a while keeps the carbon off.

Oil is so important because the rotary is designed to burn some oil so your oil level will drop between oil changes
