This just happened about 10 minutes ago so I'm still pretty wired lol. So I haven't driven my Rx-7 all day so I decided to go for a nice drive along the water. Along both sides pull up 2 Civics! Not one but TWO! They bounce off their limiter a few times, so I guess they want a piece of me. Having never raced before they got me at launch, but once I put my bitch in 2nd "See you later rice boys!" BOTH OF 'EM ... What a feeling! All I need now is a few pointers on how to get a good drag launch in my stock 88 'SE lol.

Thanks for listening lmao

LOL. Nice kill.

Try revving to about 3500rpm and just drop the clutch on the go. Try doing the rest of the shifts at around 6500rpm. I think that is the power drop off. That is all. I also have an 88 SE. I would buy a drop in K&N filter and a cat back exhaust and you will slaughter all the civic boys around town.

Hell, just the drop in K&N I felt a difference in power.

Now go back out and kill some more civics.

First you find out you had a sunroof and now you are killing civics. What's next?

LMAO I knew I had a sunroof I just never once thought about opening it lol

I was thinking of getting a full Racing Beat exhaust system (Headers, pre-silencer, cat-back) but I read on HERE that it blows engines lol. So I've gotten a little worried about modding the car

Take Care,

nothing to worry about with an NA. its the boost spikes from having no boost controller that killed the engine in that other thread.

The RacingBeat is acutaly one of the quiter exhausts out there. But, any NA is guna be loud, especialy with headers and no cats.

Sometimes being loud is a good thing, maybe when I get that done that "Ricer Clan" won't mess with me

Or you could save yourself some cash. Buy two mufflers, and do a straight pipe, **** the presilencers. You want some loudness, that'd be loud.

That is what I will be doing. Custom **** always kicks ***. And you are right, any N/A is gonna be loud. Even a stock exhaust with the cat converter is pretty loud to my friends with there hondas.
