Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I am currently putting together a 1972 Datsun 1200, and I am 80% sure I am going to drop a 13bt S5 into it. A friend of mine has cancer and I am hoping to get this put together quickly, but also want to keep my friend busy with this and keep his mind off things.

The both of use recently dropped a sr20det into a Datsun 510 and we are hoping everything will go as smoothly with this swap.

I am from a small town in NC, Rutherfordton, and would love all the help I can get on this project.

Hopefully I won't be getting hazed too much, as I have very little knowledge of the wankels, but I am trying my best to learn.

Here's a shot of what we are working with.

Welcome to nopistons, that sounds like a fun project! Feel free to ask any questions, we're too lazy to haze anybody.

Welcome to nopistons!! Sounds like a great project for a great cause. One thing though, from everything I've heard, s5 parts are a bit harder to come by than parts for the other gens of 13b. Thankfully most of the block parts are interchangeable, but electronics are not
