hey everyone i am buying a 1984 rx7 on saturday cant wait to start modding it.



the guy i am buying it form says it leaks oil pretty bad on the manifold is this a big fix or just a gasket i am going to put ls1 in but would also like to have a running rotary

In regards to the leak, I guess I would have to see it. I'm trying to think what would be leaking a significant amount of oil onto the exhaust (I'm assuming) manifold..

 

Your best bet is to clean up the grime that's sure to be around the engine (lots of degreaser) from the leaking oil, then see where it's really coming from.
