Hey guys i have a touring edition bose sound system rx7 1993. I am tired of my bose cd player not playing my burned cds so i want to install my kenwood player in it....soo give me a step by step review on how to do all of this...i tried but i couldnt take off the cover that surrounds the stereo i just need to know how to wire it, how to take out the old one...and install the new one...thanks and peace out

You can buy adaptor harnesses for the wiring, as far as removing

the old radio goes I cant help you there, never did one on a FD.

Or you can just use a test lead and figure out the wiring yourself, thats

how I always do it.



Usually people who own FDs are used to tinkering with thier cars

and they just figure it out as they go along. At least thats how I would

go about it if I had to install one.

well yeah i agree i pulled the whole bose stereo yesterday and i just dont know how to rewire it to my kenwood...so i was hoping someone else could tell me which wire goes where and etc....well thanks anyways

any other suggestions?

how do you figure out the wiring with a test light ...sorry i am new to this...could you explain to me what i have to do

with ignition on find a switched 12v source to use test and make sure it goes off with the key, with the ignition off find a constant power source. a ground should be simple to find. That should be about all the wiring youll have to to get the H.U. to work. Will you be using an amp or connecting in to factory harness for the speakers? I cant really help with that part becuase its specific to the car.

well i have a 93 bose system...i removed the cd player part but not the head unit yet...i just dont know how to wire it to the speakers now thanks for the power source wiring
