When I was riding in a friend's beretta and a red fd blew by us doing 100+ and feeling the wind push the car to the side as the rx-7 passed us.

I'd have to say my mom inspired me to get a Rotary. She used to have a 85 in Germany and nothing like it running wide open on the autobahn

had two 1st gen eclipse's, and they were horrible about slipping timing belts and bending valves... so i did a little research and found out that rx7's didn't need timing belts... that sparked the revoloution....

2 years later I own two 7's and made it to florida because of them, not really sure how the **** that happened.... I drink too much.

Question

the very first time i met one of my best friends(vspecpgt/harrison) in high school all he did was babble about rx7's and how they have a rotary engine. the 3rd gen is awesome..blah blah blah. back then i was like um oh yea i know what that is. (insert i have no friggen clue what a rotary engine is here) about 6 years later i was just goofing around looking at cars in the paper in florida and saw my future car. i bought that FD the same day i went to see it. about 7 months later my friend that had first introduced me to rx7's got his FD in virgina. LOL our cars are 2 cars apart on the assmebly line. mine is his big brother
