Jebus christ!! Dude, you need to move to Denver, we can walk around and punch things for a workout. Although you are pretty tall..

I forgot to add previously, I'm 6'1", on a large-ish frame. 230 doesn't look terrible - I looked worse 5 years ago when I weighed in at 189. I think my ideal is 210-215, maybe 225 if I really pack the muscle on.

I go to the gym four days a week and I run 3 miles a day. I'm also 6'1" and I weight 198 lbs. You should be about the same if you had a good healthy diet and at least 30 min of cardio a day. Just start jogging and eating better. You'll be fine.

[quote name='Sinful7' date='Mar 3 2005, 10:10 PM']Well, I'm kinda happy, kinda sad.. I got a scale, I weigh 223.2 (I was 232.5 at Scott's house) but I bought one of those fancy schmancy body fat measuring scales and it read 24%. So according to the manual, that classifies me as 'overfat'. Funny, I was ok with being 'overweight', but 'overfat' sounds worse!

Meh. I guess it's time to readjust my goal and be down to 215, or 21% by the end of the month.

Well, landmark was achieved tonight - I weighed in at 213.2 (probably quite a bit of water weight, and Subway weight, in my belly) with a bodyfat percentage of...

Drum roll please...

19%!

That's a total of 10lbs lost and 5% bodyfat in just over a month. And I'm taking it very easy.. riding three to five times a week and eating whatever I feel like (lately, anyway). I remember having my bodyfat tested in 10th grade and since then I don't think I've ever been below 20%, so this is encouraging! Since February I've lost almost 20 lbs.

I'm going to shoot for another 3% by the end of April.

Oh, and to those that make fun of my neck in the pic in my signature, that image is from August of 2004.. when I weighed around 238. I think it's a little bit smaller now, but we'll have to set that scene up and take another pic this summer to find out.

Wow. That is not bad at all. Congratulations. Luckily I have a high metabolism, am 6'1" and weight around 150-160lbs. I am a skinny little bastard. But the metabolism will catch up to me. I need to just quit SMOKING. That is what is killing me.

I play ALOT of DDR, so I have a cardio workout pretty much. I just don't lift weights very often, and don't run or ride a bike. Maybe I will start doing these things since it is warm out.

drop out by nws260 heavy mode on 1.5x speed. i usually end up with a A or B grading. and also the legend of max on standard no mods done and i always get an A now. that song was ******* hard to get down, especially the ending.
