Do you eat any meats? Use any dairy products? I understand that dairy products can be fattening, but having strong healthy bones helps also. And I don't know how you can pass up a big steak(if you don't eat meats).

I dont eat red meat. Its been like 3 years and no cow. My body loves me for it, no joke you fell better! But i do eat lots of turkey. Most of the food I eat are veggies and friuts. I do eat cheese mik alot though, some is not bad for you..But i always like to add some chicken to turkey to the mix. Im not a fan of the atkins thing,I just think that if humans are not born with the enzymes to digest beef, maybe an all beef diet is not the best thing for your body. But that’s just me I’m a ******* retarded Californian. It all started when I was in the FD one day and my ***** kind of bounced over a bump it the road…I thought, that’s it!

oh and anytime you can try Ostrich at good resterunt. Its way better then steak!!!

That is a good motivational tool. What weight where you when you started? Try playing DDR, it will give you a workout. Just can be expensive. And you look "gay" when doing it. Some guy at our mall use to weight like 300 pounds 2 years ago, and he now weighs about 230-235 and all he plays is DDR to lose that weight. Pretty crazy.

I started eating fish two-three time/wk, and that made me feel much, much more energetic. Aside from it being healthier than fatty steak or hamburger or something, it caused me to have much more physical energy without feeling 'weighted down' by the food I eat. Combine that with a near-total abstaination from eating out.. And exercising (mostly aerobic, some weight training) for 20 minutes to two hours each day (EVERY DAY, at least 20 mins) has led to a dramatic weight reduction.

Also, just simply not buying things like cookies, cereal, chips, white bread has contributed. For snacks I eat a cup of cottage cheese and half a cucumber, or something. Not really any fruit in my diet, it has been replaced with multivitamins and orange juice.

Bottom line, don't eat anything you see a commercial on TV for, anything that's generally considered a 'treat', and work out more often, with more intensity and for longer duration. For aerobic exercise, I found that duration is key.

I've been trying to focus more on the weight training. I like running on the treadmill though, it's neat to see how much my endurance has increased. Now I have no idea where my endurance limit is for running (we usually only do cardio for 10 or 20 minutes before and after weights). I'm looking forward to that day when my pecs are further out than my ribs/stomach, I'm noticing a little growth. But damn, I hate my biceps, after about 10 reps of 30 pounds they feel shot to hell. I'm definitely feeling the progress all-around.

That's kinda funny. My chest always has. There's some fat there (read: moobs), but there's also a good bit of muscle. I guess I never thought that thin guys thought that way.
