Yes I'm posting on it right now. I only had one hitch and that was the cheap *** printer i bought was one of the VERY few hp's that wouldn't work with osx (i can print to it in parallels). I've always used opera, i don't like mozilla, i don't like ie, really opera was the first browser with tabs, it was the first browser that works so I plan on using it on mac.

So on with the mini-review. The hardware design on the apple is amazing, this is a laptop that had some engineering though put into it and it shows. Not just another pc thrown on the market to try and be the cheapest and look the coolest. Out of the box everything works, i mention this as the hp 9000 amy has never came with software for the ******* webcam that installed on the lid, naturally the mac does. It has feature after feature designed into it where you go "man that's nice" light sensitve backlit keyboard, amazing screen res and a number of usable programs out of the box. Amazing backup software intuitive interface make it win win. I was able to import all of my bookmarks, address book and even emails from my outlook inbox. The parallels desktop runs flawlessly and hooking up hardware to the windows vista section while still in os x is cake. I was able to sync my creative zens very easily after i imported my music to the windows partition. I am running windows vista ultimate on the windows partition (u access this without rebooting and while in the current os.) All the pictures, music, etc... ie personal folders are shared between the windows partition and the os partition, wut i mean is if I drop a photo in my "pictures" folder that photo is in the pictures section of both osx and vista.

Although this may seem odd, bare in mind I get Microsoft software for close to nothing, so I am running Microsoft Office 2008 for the mac, which includes entourage, word, excel, powerpoint, etc, etc... I needed these programs so i could send word attachments etc and as I mentioned I paid next to nothing for it. The mac email program is usable, but i did miss having the calendar, address book, etc... all included in my mail program, so I am using entourage, but it syncs my mac, ical, address book, etc... so I can use them all simutaneously.

Again, where the macs shine are in the details, the hardware is top notch, which makes for a fast stable system... very fast. It's light, thin, appears durable (hard drive will shutdown if it senses a fall to spare data loss and damage). The battery life absolutely blows the doors off of ANY hp i have owned (i've owned 6). I've found nothing particularly annoying or difficult and the fact that windows runs better on the mac then it does on a pc and side by side really only leaves the additional cost as a drawback. Of course this is something for the individual to decide, but if you have the cash I think yer silly for buying a pc

Wait, let me get this straight: You bought a Mac, the PC brand with the original GUI, and you're using it to run Windows software? The same Windows software that is Bill Gates' shameless rip-off of the Mac OS? It fairly drips with irony. I love it!

Good to hear someone enjoying the quality of a well-made product. It's all too rare an event these days.

I'm not running windows as my primary os, but I am running windows, biggest thing i am using it for right now is syncing my 4 creative mp3 players.

yea thats one downside to the mac the only mp3 player that easily syncs with it is the ipod's and the only phone that really links up is the iphone. found that out with my girlfriend's verizon voyager have to load stuff from the windows partition onto her phone. but now i just buy apple products if i like them and theyre functional because there is absolutely no hassle when you plug it into the laptop.
