lets say your running windows - cant you still get a virus?



or do you run mac for internet and windows for windows programs only?

You can still get virii, but it will only affect the partition where the x86 installation is located.

you just dont open internet explorer or outlook and you avoid all those problems, thats how i do it. I like the apple mail and safari browser apps a lot better anyway.



personally i considered it but couldnt really figure it out.



windows is run on a "Virtual partition", in all honesty i still have no idea how parallels works, it just does. You'll never see the windows files while browsing through the "Finder" on the Mac OS...its odd.



Oh awesome i just realized phins is getting a Mac...that means hell finally make the site work better in Safari....WOOOOOOOOOOOO

thats cause mac doesnt work with windows partitions.



so it doesnt see anything of the windows install.

just a chunk of hard drive space it cant do anything with.

It works with fat32, not ntfs, actually not much works with ntfs. It's odd to me that the forum software would be flakey with safari, this software was written on a mac by a guy who is a huge mac nut.

it works alright in safari, but the cookies NEVER save. on my iphone too, everytime i have to re-login. its annoying.



and yes i clicked the link at the bottom to delete the cookies, i even wiped out all my cookies and tried again, no dice.
