Yea I'll never own an ipod. It's not a hassle though really I can reload it in the background anyhow.

I do like safari, it's fast, very fast. I can't really find anything i don't like except that i can't open a tab by clicking on the bar.

man I think I want one, but I still cant justify the $2500.

I can buy at least 3 pc's before I make up the difference. I dont use my computers for very complicated stuff so I always

thought the macs were a bit too fancy for my usage.

Yea unfortunately with the crap hardware that's been coming out of most of the pc manufacturer's, dell, hp, gateway, etc.... you may have to buy 3 in the same time frame of one mac

HP used to be good, but after the nightmare we went through on amy's dv9000 just to get a ******* battery replacement, i will never own another hp (i've owned a shitload of them).

I have a friend who has been using his macbook for over 5 years... still no issues.

However the reality of it is, I was prepared to spend $3700 when I stumbled accross the closeout on the 2.33ghz (current is 2.4 and it believed that the 2.6 will be out soon).

how does this work if I have her laptop networked to my PC now?

can they still share files if I have a mac? what about the printer and the router?

all that runs through my pc right now.
