Yes, I've found a passenger makes it very hard. They fall asleep and you can't open the windows (too loud) or crank the music.

If the Tempo made it 1200 miles in 12 hours it really didn't need a $500 repair, did it? Can't you buy a whole different Tempo for $500?

Okay, I set myself up for that one. I wanted a REAL exhaust, not the ghetto gutted one I had on it, so I started bitchin to my friend for a loan and he made me the deal.

you averaged 100mph from mile 0.0 to mile 1200? that means at one point you were doing WELL over 100mph. what was the top speed of your tempo again?

plus the slow down to turn around unless you did a 130mph drifting uturn in the highway.

seriously

when i drove from NJ to the keys, our average speed according to the GPS was about 65mph, including any traffic and refueling.

average driving speed was about 75-85 for 24 hours but every time we filled up the tank we would eat a little and take a ****.

to average 100mph you would have to be doing like 130mph non stop every time you were on the highway.

unless you towed a gas truck with you at 100mph all of the 1200 miles

I make sure my water pump/or cooling system is in good condition and no leaks, specially fuel and just go.

I just trekked over 3000k miles from NJ to CA in 5 days.,2 weeks ago No problems. I only stopped when I needed gas or i got hungry. Sometime when i start to drift too, but that was usually at the end of the day when i was getting to my motel. Just make sure you have cash on you incase you get stranded in the middle of no where.

Oh make sure you have plenty of premix.

I like live radio more, especially with the oldies on. You can sign along and no one can complain and keeps you awake.

I averaged way more then 100 mph, I thought that was obvious. The car is a lot faster then the 85 speedo.
