too bad its a plane engine....

Would be interesting to buy two of them and fab them together into a 2rotor... And find a small turbo and wastegate.

It could be used for whatever you want, plane, car, or a boat

Right, like I suggested earlier, just gear it down a little (That O.S. .30 engine runs at 12,000 rpm).

I saw that old Suzuki bike, but it really did suck ***. 30 mpg on a motorcycle? ****.

If you want to build a rotary go-kart, check out http://www.freedom-motors.com/

They make aluminum rotary engines. Developed for watercraft mostly, but that skycar you might have seen in Popular Science a few years back, or on the Discovery channel more recently uses them. It'd be a really big go-kart, but that's the closest I've seen to a working, modern rotary engine under 1.3 litres.

Hehe, yeah. Quite a range there. Oh, on the go-kart thing, try http://www.wankel-ag.de/lcrkart_e.html

Might cost a bit to import from Germany, but they do build Wankel engines for the purpose.

And I just found out that quasiturbine engine was built into a chainsaw, I gotta get me one of those.
