OS Giken makes the rotary RC engine IIRC.

Found a 5 cc one from O.S. Graupner, maybe who you're thinking of, which runs on nitro fuel.

I heard mention of a 50cc one, from some guys that make rotary engines for watercraft, but I haven't actually seen it anywhere. And the O.S. Graupner stuff looks pretty old, like antique collector's item type old--I'd only want cheap, used old .

the ones i posted still are the smallest.

those are the microscopic rotors, and they ARE microscopic internal combustion rotary engines. each one of those rotors is one millimeter, so it's tinier then even a 1cc engine.

Well, yeah, they're smaller--which makes my question incorrect, I should really be asking what the closest motor to 25cc is. Incidentally, in searching I noticed that the largest rotary engine used natural gas, and actually ended up more efficient than similar-sized piston engines. Interesting, given the current research into natural gas (as well as hydrogen 'n stuff) for eco-friendly cars.

Awright, I know somebody's hiding a rotary engine between 20cc and 60cc somewhere, don't make me get out the rubber glove...

The OS engines were still in production as of about five years ago.

They go for quite a bit on ebay, though. But they always were expensive.

They dropped down to $200 or less in the late 80's, early 90's, apparently--but back up well over $400 now.
