What's in a name? Gear it down a little, and it's an r/c car engine... Make it 10x the size, and it's a bike engine. Maybe I should just upgrade my bicycle components a little and go for a 13G or a Renesis.

suzuki made a rotary engined bike you might be able to rape one for a project, but the motor really sucked.

you can fit like thousands into a cylinder the size of an AA battery and they produce tons more power for longer. It's some special college project/creation.

read over all the parts of the site it's pretty much left me in awe when i read it a few months ago.

From what I read in the past they were considering using a rotary engine to drive a generator, for powering portable electric devices, like cellular phones or laptops, so instead of having a battery you recharged (and that went bad every year) you would have a fuel cell that you could refill, like hydrogen or propane or something... Surprisingly the results can be more compact than LiIon batteries you find in modern laptops with more runtime... I'm not sure what they planned on doing about the heat issue though, although my laptop already is pretty damn hot when I use it, one guy burned his stuff using his laptop in bed naked, so I'm not sure how much difference it would make to have some internal combustion occuring?

thats what gets me though, i dont understand how it's internal combustion cause then a "battery" would require like filling up, i guess like the older car batteries or something? a few things i couldnt comprehend completely.
