How about: Mazda RX-7 Performance Handbook. It covers the entire car, not just the rotary engine. I believe the link is: http://www.speednation.com

I am almost through it & it is fantastic. It does however, briefly cover the history of the rotary engines (which will give you a little of that "wankel & his dream stuff"). It is s a good book though.

Kevin, this exact book: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/190478803...5Fencoding=UTF8

Great book, has history from the first rotaries, all the way up to the 2002. Goes into huge detail on FB,FC, and FD's. Very very good book, I am not even done with it yet. It has concept drawings for everything. Worth all the money.
