i read on PSM that LCD is a better choice than plasma.

it is however 3 times the thickness, which might screw my wallmount plans

According to CR, the LCD sets tend to blur rapid motion, and don't run as big as the plasma sets. Plasma sets offer a wider range of ideal viewing angles. Panasonic seems to dominate the top spots for most size sets.

yea i definetely noticed the plasma is better from multiple viewing angles

Scott, I was speaking of the DLP tv's. Dual Line Projectors is what they are called. Pretty much a rear projection tv, but the image is so sharp and clean, it is purely orgasmic.

unless your going to watch the TV from 180 degrees you will not notice the difference then plazma

I always pick up strange pixels in people's plazma tv, like a whole section thats green or blue or something.

LCDs you can change the lamp yourself very easily, dont need a repair guy.

my tv is pretty slim for its size, its like 16" or 18"
