in Vosko's case, the car itself is the most inexpensive part of the package.

yah, its not as bad as it looked the first time. the frame rail looks straight, but the strut tower moved back and in, not the end of the world. it could be rebuilt better than it was too

see what happens, you are used to being without the car anyhow.

Get paid, then fix it the way you want to.

I could just paint it if you want, get it mechanically the way you want it then give it to me, this way it doesnt get all fucked up again.

In Jersey, you can't buy back a totaled car...dunno why.

The photos, it doesn't actually look THAT bad, as long as the frame in that corner is pretty good, it dosn't look like it will be overly expensive for repair.

I got hit with a 75/25 fault (75 his, 25 mine) on a guy who turned left in front of me that I hit, and I was under the speedlimit.

glad you are alright Jon. sorry to see this mess. keep your head up. i have had worse happen, and you will make out in the end. as far as totaling the car goes... that is realy the insurance companies decision and i have had a LOT less damage total a car... i hope you hold the title to this car. if you do, i have been in this situation a few times and you could benifit from calling me on how to work things out to your benifit.
