that is a good point, another being i have an 88 gxl and the del sol is a 95, my gxl is almost older than i am... and there are a million of mods for hondas too, but hardly and for the fc's <_< ........keep em coming,later

Mods, we dont need no stinking mods! Short of intake, exhaust, and engine
there arent really any mods anyone could do to any vehicle to make them go faster. All the mods avail. to a Honda are avail. to a 7, besides most of the mods avail arent going to produce massive gains in performance. They are tiny changes thay produce very little and consure more time than they are really worth, for instance the TB mod that gains MAYBE 1-2 hp, and it takes how long to perform?
An Rx-7 will peform just as well if not better than a Del Sol. The weight difference is marginal. With either you will still probably want to mod all the bs: engine, intake, exhaust, suspension, running gear, brakes, so on and so forth, and the end result, assuming the mods will be somewhat similar, is a more expensive, modded Del Sol, that still gets its *** whooped by the modded 7.

Keep the GXL..... Everyone and their mother has a Honda. How many people can say that they own an RX7??? I sold my 99 Grand Prix Pace Car ( 1999 Grand Prix GTP Pace Car ) to get something that I could work on and modify. I bought a Honda CRX as a beater and the 3G RX7 as the project. I personally think that the looks of the car you have now far outweigh that of the DelSol, but that is just my opinion. Basically it all comes down to what you really want, but I would keep what you have right now.

just an FYI on that camaro... the picture isnt of a 69, thats a 67 
You can tell because of the hide away lights ... 69's had open headlights.. 69's are the best though... almost bought one before my truck, it was a sweet 69, black with chrome trim, it had all SS emblems, but i wasnt sure if it was a real SS, anyways, it was about 14k and i ended up buying a truck instead...

but the del sol has a b16A2 in it, the 16 vavle double over head cam motor in it, its basically stock and does 0-6- in 6.75 seconds, produces 165 motor horsepower at the flywheel if im not mistaken, that pretty quick for a 2550 lb. car, given the fact that its stock and all motor, of course you going to be faster in a turbo 2 or a 3rd gen (because you have a turbo) the thing is i dont have a turbo (i have 88 GXL) and the car is faster, the mods im talking about include everything for the motor but, mainly things they dont make for our rx7's such as everything you see on them that you like, ow say this bad as body kit you want and wing yet no one makes them for your car unless you are lucky enough to own a 3rd gen, i own a non turbo 2nd gen series 4 rx7, like some people have said on this web board theres no point in wasting my time on a non turbo rx7 becasue its almost pointless and it wont be that fast, just because its a honda doesnt mean its a bad car or a lady car, how many woman have you actually sene driving a del sol, let alone seen a del sol, they are almost as rare as seeing a rotary powered car, i could say the rx7 is a chick car because i have seen a woman drive a 2nd gen and a 3rd gen, i know this is all just a matter of opinion and i really dont mind the flame threads, i knew the consequences of putting up this post, anyways thanks for the replies and keep em coming, later :bigok:
