no one is saying to go out and do it but if you are crusing along at 3 am on an interstate and a gtr(highly impossible) rolls up to you and you get into the heat of the race its hard to resist even me that i dont run it unless it is a worth while race i could not resist.

 

there was a little dispute recently about banks speed records.. he holds em.. but Spal had a ford ranger that set a record supposedly.. but not with the FIA.. and they were tooting their horns about it last year.. yet banks' truck still holds the record and is like 5 mph faster.. i read it in a truckin mag recently..



did i make any sense?





banks set record in 2002.. for like 216mph.. recognized by the FIA.



Spal made a pass for 211mph in 2007 and that was apparently a record according to what ever company recognized their run.. but it was not the FIA.(which is a internationally recognized organization) hope i got the acronyms right.

yea when i first got an rx7 I would do stupid ****, but stupid **** gets boring and dangerous pretty quick. now all my friends whoa re just getting into cars think I'm a *****, I just shut my mouth and wait for them to come home with an 8 point speeding ticket.
