If my calculations are correct and yes i can use a calculator :
85 FB 2500est Lbs./350 HP = 7.14 lbs. to HP 86 FC Sport 2650Lbs./350HP = 7.57 lbs. To HP 93 FD Base 2789Lbs./350 HP = 7.96 lbs. to HP 2008 Nissan GTR 3858lbs./473HP = 8.15 lbs. to HP 2008 Evo 3594lbs./291 HP = 12.35 lbs. to HP What im trying to say is if 350 hp in an FB/FC/FD can take out a 2008 GTR must be great to blow the doors off one in a car that is at least 16 years old and give a run for there money on cars like the 2008 Shellb GT 500 and The Corvette Z06 which has a little better hp to weight ratio. hell even a Lambo Murcielago is a 6.12:1lb hp to weight ratio |
Forgot to add this is based solely on HP figures TQ is another thing all together LOL https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.gif

My Legacy with me in it is about 8.7 lb/hp and it's pretty fun.
350 hp in an FB/FC/FD is fast! ... And you're just figuring this out now? |
I'm going to do a diesel swap to get some torque https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.gif
You ever seen that race truck dakota with a diesel in it?
Banks had a turbo truck he would drive to bonneville with a trailer behind it, make some crazy high speed run, then hook the trailer back up and drive it home.
was far too, a few thousand miles. |
There was an article around not too long ago about a twin turbo diesel corvette, thing had like 650 ft lbs of torque or something obscene like that
just never realized how low a hp figure a rotary needs to whip ass
