It became "Just another car"

Whe I go to the track there are 10 second cars by the dozens there. ts not hard to build a 10 sec V-8 at all.

A chevy Vega would have been a better car. Or maybe a AMC Gremlin. Even a 1st gen rescued from a junk yard.

Again I am not narrow minded its just sad to see a FD ruined like that.

Agreed.

These cars are getting so rare...

Err its cool that its fast and all, but sheesh, its just morally wrong!!

I just sold a 2000 Mustang GT lightly modded. Just bought a 2003 CooperS ans I am waiting for my SC upgrade to come in. I have owned a 67 and 68 Mustang a 300ZX a very tricked Ford Probe.

I have the right to not like that car. I dont give a **** how fast it is. In my opinion it is wrong. Exotic? Whats exotic about a covette powered RX-7?? Corvettes are like Mustangs in this town they are everywhere.

They ripped the soul out of that car. [/quote]

I have an urge to put a skyline gtr engine in an fd

but i would probably get stoned and poked with pointy sticks by the "rotary is holy and unquestionable" clan that upholds the the firm belif that anyone putting anythining other then a rotary in an fd needs to feel the wrath of the pointy sticks....

btw, so if its moraly wrong to rip the sole out of the fd, is it ok to by a body with no engine and then drop somehting good in?

I still see no problem with it.. But for you current FD owners thats a good thing cuz your FD value just went up if it still has a rotary in it.. hahaha
