I have
4 AR-15's
1 SKS
1 Mosberg police tactical 12guage
1 AR-15 lower with a .22cal upper
1 Calico .22
1 PT99 9mm hand gun
1 Sig P230 hand gun
2 Ruger .22 hand guns
I qualified expert at every range I ever attended in my 14 years of military service and I love guns.
As for those that hate guns you don't deserve to live in a free country...
Criminals will always have guns and if they don't by some act of god then they will have knifes, bats, a steel pipe, spiked clubs, cross bows etc.... The human body is weak and just about anything out there can kill you when used with force. Human DNA is written for violence, we are preditors by nature and there will always be crime and war. Go back a few thousand years before guns were even invented and we still did a damn good job of killing each other. We did it then, we do it now and we will do it until the end of our time. It's only the method of doing it that will change.

How can you have that stuff in japan? Or do you have them from your military service? I thought japan was really strict about guns.
Here's what i think of guns:
Carry a gun, shoot skeet.
Carry a gun, hunt animals (for sport for food, whatever)
Carry a gun that isnt for those reasons it should be banned. Anything that is absolute overkill for what you are using it for should not be allowed. Any type of high-powered automatic or subautomatic rifle should be banned. Theres no reason for them and they are not designed for the above reasons. They are WAR weapons. They should not be in our homes. Anyone who carries a WAR weapon should be fighting a war or training for said war and not firing off rounds in his backyard while sitting in his wave pool drinking a budweiser.
Keep the peaceful world peaceful.

Uh oh better get rid of any shotgun produced in the last 20 years. I mean anyone with half a bit of knowledge can remove the plug, load it with 10 or so shells of buckshot and proceed to kill a whole lot of people in a short amount of time.
Hrmm. Better get rid of the ruger 10/22 as well. 22 is a wimpy caliber but with a nice bannana clip on it I can hold 200+ rounds and mow down most anything that isn't really heavily armoured.
You know 10 shots in a .45 is pretty overkill too. I mean really if you miss the first time on your target you can always reload, no need for those extra shots. Especially considering that if someone is skilled with a gun they can take out 10 plus people. 10! Too many!
Come to think of it, 6 shots in a pistol might be too much. Speedloaders and all that.
And you know, magnum calibers just pack too much punch. You don't REALLY need that extra carry that a .44 mag gives you or a .357. Stick with the .38 special that's all that's needed. You REALLY don't need that .50!
Big game hunters can do just fine with a 308 and good accuracy. Maybe a special license for the big Wetherby calibers.
You know come to think of it the only gun that should be legal is a single shot .22 short. And a single shot 308 or 30/06. Don't hunt dangerous game. Yeah that's the ticket!
Thanks for clearing that up!
Some of you guys kill your own argument.
If YOU don't have a gun laying on your night table, how could a criminal get these stolen guns he uses to commit all his crimes?
How are they going to get them if they aren't there? Some of you need to spend some time in Detroit or your other 'Beacons of Freedom'.
If carrying a gun means lower crime I guess that means we're all carrying M16s up here.
Criminals are like ****. Guns are like flies.
Flies are attracted to ****. Guns are attracted to criminals.
It's really really hard to kill all the flies in the world. However it's fairly easy to clean up the ****.
Get the point?
If you're going to use your logic anything that can be misused should be banned, that includes beer.

This thread has got me thinking that there are a lot of things besides guns that really NEED to be banned. Dangerous things, that could harm their users or others. Things like:
Knives
Cars
Bowling *****
Power tools
Glass bottles
Sleeping pills
Rottweilers
Baseball bats
Golf spikes
Hamburgers
Parachutes
We really need to protect everyone by eliminating dangerous things from our world, and we can easily do this. We just need to ban everything!
