Just not being able to carry around guns and having a background check makes a shitload of difference. It shows that you are serious about gun control rather than have them almost free traded around as long as you have the money to buy them.

I'm military not law-enforcement. And yeah FiveSeven is pretty sweet. Its named that because of the 5.7mm cartiage it fires. Made be Fabrique Nationale if I remember right. Same round as what the P90 fires.

You are a ******* ***. If I clear the mandatory federal background check, have the proper permit from the local authorities, and can afford it why shouldn't I be able to have it? I'm not a goddamn criminal, I enjoy shooting guns of all kinds.

The guns are always going to be on the street. All the ******* criminals are going to get them reguardless of laws and restrictions. I ordered my MAK-90, when it arrived I filled out the federal and state paperwork. Waited 10 days for paperwork/waiting period. Then I could get my gun. If thats not gun control then I don't know what is.
I do agree that not all people should have guns. You should need a background check and some sort of training, but thats where it should stop.

The crime rate in states where it is legal to carry a consealed handgun( with proper permit, which requires training and range time) went DOWN. Let me repeat that...DOWN.
Again, I'm not saying anyone should own firearms but most of the laws here(Maryland specifically) are ******* rediculous. Me, as a law abiding citizen, with my handgun/restricted weapons permit still has to jump through hoops to get certain things.
