need to know what the specs are on your pc so we can let you know what ram to buy. I would highly recommend upgrading to 1gb if you can. Newegg.com and Tigerdirect.com are both high quality places that sell parts at great prices and they have great service also. You can usually get 512MB for under $70 (sometimes even cheaper than that). 1GB kits (2x512MB)

or even a single 1GB stick of ram can be had for under $100.

Heres what I know for the specs on this computer, Intel Pentium 4 CPU, 2.80 GHz, 256 MB RAM, Intel 82865G graphics controler. Windows XP SP2. Hopefully this helps in finding out what type of RAM I need to buy.

Just another question..... Even if there is not much memory taken up on the computer it is recommeded to upgrate to a 512 or 1G? Not sure if RAM is the same thing as memory.

Yes and yes, the more RAM/memory you have the better.

I loooked up your motherboard and it should be using DDR 400 (PC 3200)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList....SubCategory=147

any of the memory listed on that link should be fine for you.
