Back a little ways we lost two AMIT's (assistan mngr in training), and the other retail people refused to take overtime, i didnt. I worked a minimum 60-65 hours a WEEK for almost three months, to pay off bills to my dad for stuff i had needed his help with.

I have stepped up to help out when not even the store manager would, and i was told by the SM that i was going to be one of the new AMIT's. Wow screwed again, of the promotions was to a lady who deserves it, she was getting it even despite my promotion.

So who got mine? One of the retails who never lifts a finger for nobody but has been there a few months longer. Because of DALE, because dale cant stand me.

I keep getting fucked guys. Ive had THREE network tech interviews and do you know why i didnt get the job? They called Advance and the SM and AM (dale) tell them im lazy and dont show initiative....

They're ******* me royal. As for the tech job i have coming late this month, im putting the name of the commercial manager on my application because she loves me, tells it how it is, and is serverly pissed that i cant get out of this place when i have awsome technical credentials.

Dale chewed me out a few days ago over something he knew nothing about. The other party involved even told him he had it 100% wrong and i hadnt done anything. He had his finger an inch from my face out in the parking lot. I kept backing up because im not the person to **** off like that.

Well he kept pushing it and he got saved by a very very quick SM who got in between us when he saw my fist curl as i stopped backing up.

I cant take this anymore, im going to blow but im so afraid to leave and have an employment gap because im afraid it will ruin my shot for my FD.

you think that he is telling other companies bad things about you? well if he is its illegal to do that. about all they can say is that you work for them you hours and pay. I know this because my folks own a lock smith buis. and people always call to check someones ref.. and she gets so pissed that she can't tell them what kind of person they are considering.

hell I'd love to have over time in my job. by fed. law you must be paid overtime if you go over 40h per week..well in my job they give you comp time. that is for every hour over you get 1 hour of free time off.. now that sucks. we earn enough leave to take lots of time off when we want. I'd rather have over time and not this comp time ****...I've got enough time on the books to take off for a solid month.

I KNOW they are. My friend was geting me a job at radioshack, and after the interview i never got a call, so i called my friend up to ask him why they didnt hire me.

He told me that his manager called Advance and was told that i was lazy and failed to show initiative.

thats illegal. but it don't mean that it don't happen...ever think that they might see you as that? not saying you are..just that they might think you are...people here think the same of me but my programs are all in tact and i take a little time to keep them that way instead of letting them slide. So I have lots of time to play on NP during work. Its only when I stop doing my job (vacation or military school) that they see that what I take care of really goes to **** fast.

Sorry for all the bullshit, but **** happens.

If you don't like the crap your previous employer is doing to you, don't list them on the resume.

If you are required to put them down as "work history" on an application, put down "personal" as reason for leaving. Some applications even ask for your permission to contact a previous employer - check "no". If they push you on why you quit, tell them it's listed "personal" for a reason. If this is getting you no where, don't even list them on the application.

True enough, they dont want me to leave and the DM told them that. I'm a HUGE salesguy for the store, if i leave, they automatically lose 11,000.00+ on payroll everyweek, and they are already barely making payroll.
