[quote name='ThirdGenRX7' date='Aug 28 2002, 04:15 PM']since when has our government gave a **** about the constitution? it's in the garbage, forget it existed
Very true, in fact a very wealthy man in Texas fought a parking ticket, said that it was against the constitution to ticket him on a public roadway... he won, but they still do tickets on public roadways cause they we won't all fight it.
I forsee a lot more tickets hitting the streets that don't go on your driving record.. why? Because no one fights them. I fight and win every ticket I get, would rather the lawyer get my cash then those ******* leaches at the city.

to tell you the truth i trust machines 10000% more than I trust people... okay let's say you want it tested... how about this policy: at a regular interval sayyyy 1 month they go and check the camera to make sure it's functioning properly, if your ticket fell in the time that it was found to be out of adjustment then your ticket gets thrown out, problem solved. In california with redlight tickets the person's face has to be clear in the picture.
You say problem resolved but that is the exact ******* issue YOU CAN'T ARGUE IT, YOU CAN'T TEST THE EQUIPMENT!!
I couldn't come up with a more contrdicting statement if I tried.. .but you certainly did.

I just told you. Charging someone to park on a street that was paid for using their taxes. Actuallyit was Parking meters they found to be illegal.. not the ticket.
Since you know so much about law... you would know why that ticket was thrown out after the findings on the parking meter so I won't waste my time explaining

i don't know where in the constitution it says anything about parking meters being illegal... which amendment?
I can't wait until we get to your new world order, where we can't challenge courts because the government decided it fair and that is that. If that is the way you want it expect to be ruled by lobbyists and large coorporations. You can say good buy to your cars espcially sports cars, they produce too much pollution according to the special interests groups, so we cut them up and ship them off, you won't be able to fight that under your "perfect government" cause they'll just say "Where does it say we can't cut up you polluting car and ship it over seas in the constitution"?
And that was a pathetic stretch, much like the ones you have been dishing out this whole topic!
