Ok I've been working on a 13b-re swap for a few years now. Finally I'm at the point of pre-fit and fabing anything that I might need..Now my friend and I go to test mount the tranny and engine..and to our suprise its an inch to short!!. I'm using an 86 auto body with an 87 T2 tranny..as we tried to test fit it we see that the tranny mounts are going to be at least an inch off...I was to understand that auto to 5 sp in an fc was bolt up so WTF am I missing something here? HELP PLEASE I want to get this freaking cosmo fc done!!!

The 86 - 88 chassis are different between auto and manual where the tranny hooks up.

All the verts I believe have both auto and manual tranny chassis mounts and I think the s5 too.
