rotory in a jetboat
new to the rotory world so please be nice with your responses
I would like to install a rotory in my 18foot jetboat with a 13b or maybe a 20b (if i can aford it)
its gotta be a bit of a budget build so i was thinking of starting with a turbo 13b from ebay.
my Questions are..............
1) whats the max RPM I can safely hold for a while (15 or more minutes at a time) during WOT driving???
2) whats the weight of a 13b fully dressed. (well just a alternator and needed stuff)??? how about a 20b weight?
3) whats your general opinion in a marine application of the rotory motor?
4) links to marine installs other then quicksilver and Atkins marine???
I'm sure I'll have allot more questions as the winter project continues.
thanks

many people already have put rotarys into boats. atkinsrotary.com sells parts for this also.
as far as holding RPM's. they also use rotarys in planes. holding high RPM's for a very long time. look at rotaryaviation.com
if i were you, i might wanna think about using an NA set-up for marine application. the turbo will suck about anything into it if it gets close. like a hand or your hat. or water, wich all 3 will leave you stuck out in the water...
