Thumbs up

I have a 84 12A....I have every thing I need done to it so far....BUT its not ported....

My boy who races his Starlet with a 13B is doing like 6.5 in the 1/8 ..and he offered to port my **** for 300.$ street or bridge...so im gonnan go bridge...

But im getting so tempted to buy Racing Beats templates..and do it my self..My problem is when I look at other ported ports..its not cut straight through..its kinda angled...

*its hard to explain unless you have seen a ported housing*

I have the air tools needed but i just need the bits.....should I spend $40. on templates and try it ..or is it to difficult and just let this guy do it ?Im gonan dismantal my motor my self..bring him the housings and let him port it...If i cant put it back together he will do it for another $300.

Which means I will have about $750. in a street/bridge ported engine,Which it isint **** ..compared to what some places charge...

Some one give me ideas....or a free porting donation.lol

Also heres my friend car....I found His pictures at Akins rotarys web site..He raced at Gainesville FL ...The weekend PR vs USA was at Lakeland drag strip..
