I got my hands on the Road and Track with the RX-8 in it, and after seeing it in the NYC show- they had the new engine out on a stand, it looks AMAZINGLY simple. I wish these engines would be affordable enough, its the perfect engine to replacement for my old convertible engine, and at 250 hp N/A, its just right.

If the bellhousing pattern is the same then it would be easy to bolt in; but getting all the peripherals would be tough.

Ford didnt develop this engine. As a matter of fact this car was supposed to come out years ago, but Ford ditched the idea when they first took Mazda, claiming "upscale cars and rotary engines dont make sense in todays marketplace"

I seen that too, little bisnatches!

I have ponder the idea a lot, but you'd be better off with a 20b, probably cost the same too. But realisticly I'm going in the direction of a rebuilt TII engine.
