After reading the whole post I disagree in many things...

1 My old 13B P port did burn-out easy and it didn't have 500 to 600 rwhp and It was a very reliable motor.

2 With my new motor i've got 510rwhp and it's only from a 80ci motor.

I would never get a V8. After racing many V8 with the same HP as mine and seeing the look on there faces when I beat them makes me proud of owning a rotary.

Fair enough that a V8 has more torque but I'm not towing anything.

And to finish, Still today my best race was against an Rx3 that had a 350ci in it and the guy got pissed when I told him that the reason he lost was because he remove the real motor out.

He still can't beat me...
You have a #1 fan now!!

that is one crazy look tvr too. it'd be a hoot on a back road

4000...then how is that one guy quoting 2400? atleast i'm being realistic about how much i wanna spend, that guy is insane....i assume the tranny is gonna cost another 100?
what are you talking about again??

I've found a 3 rotor for 2400, everything to get in runnin for that.

dude, your gonna a do what your gonna do. But don't ask for our approval because it's not gonna happen. And don't even try to convince me what your doing is better than keeping a rotary. Cause I live in the really real world, and KNOW otherwise.

You did not read what I said Corksport tends to be on the high side.

I know shere there is a kickass 20B for about 7K that will easily be a 600-800HP motor.

As far as tranny goes if you have a turbo II tranny your good to go. Again corksport sells them for about $400.

Isn't this sweet???

BTW - You lack of a comment on that TVR I posted shows me you really are not a car enthusiest you just want to go fast in a car.

This engine / tranny can be had for about $7K. Trust me people would run past your Corveete powered car to see this engine. Well,... the people that know wtf they are looking at.

I built a 13b-RE custom turbo Fuel injected FB for a shade under 8300 bucks.

My friend built a V-8 n/a carb FC for 12k (his estimate)

We raced and were damn near dead even! I won the first race, he won the second.

Two weekends ago he ran a 11.68@120mph

My 13b is a junkyard engine while he is on his second V-8. I don't wanta hear about rotary reliability in a bad way.

Hey one more question I am admitting ignorance to the mighty V-8 here.

What model car does a 500HP LS-1 come in?? My dad has a 2000 Vette and has 350HP the Z06's have 400HP where are these 500HP engines lurking around??

Your telling me your buying one for $4K and it has 500HP right out of the box? If there is not one how much will it tale to get to 500HP from a 400HP Z-06 engine or from a 350HP C-5 engine??

Brandon - Do what you want dude. I am not trying to slam you but I wll get defensive if you say rotary engines are not reliable. I have a 370HP engine in my car and it will run for a long long time.

My friend in Marrietta Geogia has a 360RWHP RX-7 and he has been driving it like that for 3 years now problem free.

You only hear about the mihaps because thats what is newsworthy. If you would like ever 3 weeks or so I will post up that my car and my friends car are running great and problem free.

you didn't read my post, you buy a set of heads which add about 100hp, so you take the ls6 block from a z06...put those heads on...there u go, 500hp.....and i'm not a car enthusiast....i've own a camaro, pickup truck, dsm, and i did all the work myself to all of those cars, loved them all to, and I'm not trying to make people look at my engine, i could care less what people think about my car, and i don't recall ever asking for anyones approval to do the engine swap, i asked if anyone has done it, to get advice, if ur so faithful to rotaries, stay out of the engine swap section...also, i don't like TVRs hence my non comment on it

Aight to clarify this I am buying an LS1 Corvette motor then a t56 tranny from a firebird...the corvette dosen't have a transmission it has a transaxle....Talk **** about the v8 if you wanna now...I will talk to you this spring...beside if I don't like it I can always sell it and buy a 3-rotor...you say its not all about horsepower like your talking to an idote...come to vt and race our 73 horsepower car in a autocross and well hand it to you without breaking a sweat...Besides LS1 has forged pistons and all the good stuff...ordered a lunatti cam, rockers, valve springs and retainers...drivetrain stuff for you rotary people . Everyone here is all talking **** about my rotary and his rotary and my brothers sisters cousins rotary...fact is I have seen very few people really show me what their car will do...then agian chevvy people are the same way...like I said I will post more info on the swap after christmas break and I will be at the tracks around VA and tennesse this summer...if your rotary is so damn fast I'll expect to see you, your tri-rotar swap and all 5 million psi of boost there I'll bring my car, my street gas and forget to feather my clutch when I pull into the track but for me it will be not to spin the tires instead of not kill my car ...
