I have already said I am all for this swap just pleas please please sell me your shitty Rotary engines. I am ignorant and want them.
lol...I'll ship you my 13B-REw when the cost of rebuilding a rotary cost more than a V8 swap.

you should send out ur engine right now then, granny's shop sells a kit for a LS1 for 500 i believe, and u can get a LS1 and t-56 on ebay for around 3000, if u do the work urself, thats 3500, no if my memory serves me correctly, to rebuild my engine(91 n/a), its about 3500, so to do a new 13B-REw...gotta be more, so join the crowd, get a v8

$3500 total to swap on a V-8?????????

Sure...right...

Pettit quoted me a rebuild w/ street port for $3k. 2 week turnaround too.

Japtrix in West Palm Beach Florida - Drop off car, wait 2 weeks, pay $2500, drive car home with rebuild.

Mazda Factory rebuild - $2300 for a 13B-REW- Install yourself and your done plus you have a 12 month 12K mile warranty.

But please do send your shitty rotary engines to me.

The last engine rebuild I did cost me $90 and a week of my free time....NO WAY ON EARTH would a V-8 swap cost that much time/money.

I think it's super cool craftsmanship...just don't think it would ever go in my FD.

2 days to change plugs has nothing to do with reliablity that normal rotarys are associated with

considering the swaps use stock exaust manifolds spark plug changes should

be a piece of cake.

I had a big block V-8 in my Oldsmobile, and had to remove the header on one side of the engine to change the plugs, but still it only took about 2 hours to do all 8 plugs.

I wouldin't really call the LS1 a reliable engine. Anything that has a normalality such as "piston slap" isnt that great.. They have been known to burn oil too.

Get an LT1 a lot cheaper, and it still eats those 200 shots like candy.

Granny makes kits for these *****. They make it very effortless and easy.

The thing I don't get is, is that when your engine starts falling apart, overheating, leaking fluids...you're supposed to deal with it? And fix it? And if you're fed up with doing that ****, it's your fault.. Hey man, I like an engine that doesnt do that ****. Your engine is supposed to work for you, not the oppisite.
