So finally, I've gotten around to having enough time to start documenting stuff. I've had this car for about 4 months, it never did run quite right. So I took the motor apart. And woudlnt you know it. It had a cracked rotor housing. So I was very unsure about what to do. Give up on my new pristine GTU ( well, it is on the inside ) or just go back to working on my piece of **** nova. So I decided that the nova was steel, and would stick around for another couple years, I mean for christ sake, its been aroudn for 37 years already. And thats where the fun began.

I started looking for parts, eventually, I decided to go REW on the car. Much to my dismay, its costing quite a bit more then I thought it would, but now I know to research a swap before I start into it. But I've got WAY past the turning point, and here I am. Pile of parts, 75 feet of silicon vacuum line, 30 feet of fuel line, 255lph walbro, 8 lb battery, stock rew - with all the wiring and ecu, and a cleaned out engine bay in my FC. I've also got the mounts for the REW -> FC swap ( MANY THANKS TO MAZDASPEED7 for the hookup ), and I've even managed to source out a set of flush mount lights that look really good.

Nology How wires, and an Apexi air intake setup, that came with teh car from japan.

I'd have rocked the 92, but it was totalled and All I got from that that was usable were the rhd doors, and bumpers and motorset/ecu and wiring.

Anyways. I should be updating this later today with pix of the car how it is now, and with shots of the engine.

Where is Bellingham? I am guessing the UK?

I never heard of a 92 REW. In the states it came along in '93.

My REW swap was insane. In hindsight I wish I just bought an FD and worked it over. It would have been cheaper. I have over $50K invested in my FC the exact amount is rather embarrassing and I would rather not disclose it. My last rebuild / Fuel system upgrade / and extreme porting job was a 5 figue adventure.

Its out of a 1992 Mazda RX-7 Efeni. (FD )

I imported it from Japan about 6 months ago and whatnot. And Bellingham is in the northwest corner of washington state. I went on a run yesterday... and the whole day I wanted to be driving my rx7. So, I guess back to the grindstone. I'm going to go get my car this afternoon, and get the motor up and mounted today ( after I find myself some new turbo gaskets.....)

Anyways.. Pix to come when car gets home.
