that was what jim put in his entire car..if you think about it. eng. ecu from an fd, harness, and (this i'm not sure about) drive train componants..ie x-mission, drive shaft..if you don't have a t-2 you will need t-2 rear end assy (i think) you will need custom motor mounts, then the regular stuff..depending on what you want to do and what you need and have you might be able to squeek by at 12k or so. if you do the work yourself with friends.

I spared no expense to my car is a bad example.

To do it right?

TII drivetrain

Aftermarket ECU - I went all out for a Motec M-4. A Wolf 3D for $1400 will work as good.

You use the stock FD flywheel and a TII clutch.

Things that need to be custom made.

Some way of mounting engine. FD mounts are in rear FC are in middle. I had this fabricator make a cradle like this.

Then you will need to have a custom thermostat neck along with the water pump neck. Like this:

Another thing is the Mid pipe you will have to have one made custom. It should not be a big deal to make you could actually buy a used FD mid pipe and have it modified. Thats what I did.

Go read this thread its got lots of details.

Those are the major hurdles. You could use the stock twins and run them non-sequential. Stock fuel will wor for now too.

Hey thanks for the help. Hes a really cool guy, the guy that put me onto this idea. He always has motors and is always experimenting with new things to try on rotaries. Hes can get me the FD motor/tranny/ecu for $1000, then whatever else it costs for him and me to put it on and i guess some beer and weed to celebrate lol.

jason nyc,

Can u send me more pics of ure car.
