I was just curious what the power specs on the 13b-re cosmo engine are like horsepower, torque, what psi they run stock, how much they weigh, do they use a map setup, whats their redline and top speed

just curious thanks

205ps - just about 200bhp.

Stock boost is like 8psi.

Dunno about weight - it's comparable to an FD 13B-REW.

No, they are all AFM dependent.

Redline is 7kRPM.

Top speed? For a Cosmo? 180kph speed governer limited, like all J-Spec vehicles.

That's about 113mph.

actually they are about 230ps stock at 10 psi

TQ is abut 210-215, but those # are on an engine that isn't even touching its true potential. upgrade the turbos to the higer flowing efini twins or the upgraded ones from BNR, and some more fuel you will pump out a good deal more. The power in that engine was reduced alot because it was in a lux. car.

interesting....the cosmo swap is the same as a FD/series 6 engine?

anyone here used standard series 4 or 5 turbo with basic mods such as front mount, ecu etc?

viperkiller7: pls LMK how that turbo feels when you get it, I have a 60 trim on mine right now and want a bigger turbo in the near future.

yup there are many diffrences between the two..however you can use some parts from the fd or TII engine on the cosmo... It will be a long while until I can feel my RE project...(stuck in Afghanistan right now) but would love to hear how it feels on the crazy port and turbo set up...damn.

re has slanted inlet ports, but the exhaust sleeves are much different. I believe that you would use a s6 rebuild kit for your re, but I have sat down and looked it over.
