HOW MANY HORSES DO I HAVE FOR AN STOCK 87 GXL. I AM CURIOUS, BECAUSE , I WANNA MAKE IT FASTER SO I CAN STREET RACE BUT I REALLY DONT WANNA WASTE MY TIME INVESTIN MY MONEY, AND MY TIME. SOMEBODY LET ME KNOW WHATS GOOD THO!!!

first turn off caps lock. 87 GXL stock has 146hp and 140tq. the biggest power increase will be a full http://www.racingbeat.com exhaust system(headers,presilencer,catback) and weight reduction 
if you do that and can drive VERY well you can run high 14's all motor there are quite a few cars running even 13's on the east coast with no turbo. if i find a bunch of money or pay off my FD i would like to do that to my GTU :sigh:
