No one else has said anything about jacobs. Has anyone used one of their ignition setups? I am installing a Haltech and don't want to begin until I have every part I may need. I know MSD's reputation. My friend has a car that runs 9's. He has a MSD. If I bought coils, they would be MSD's. The Jacobs rotary ignition seems that it would be a good choice. Someone has got to know something about it?

Overhyped...overpriced.

yea, even when i was working on my jeep, everyone with a jeep said jacobs was ****, so i dont give them a look over.

OK so anyway here's the enw gameplan that has been proven to work, by our own mr. mazdadrifter, with one minor mod by me. This is what i will be running.

FD Ignitor is 3 channels.

I have 4 MSD Blaster SS Coils.

2 of the ignitors channels will, individually, be running 2 coils (1 channel per trailing coil.)

The remaining single channel on the ignitor will be split to seperate MSD Boxes.

From each box it will go to the remaing 2 leading coils.

here's an image, much easier to comprehend.
