Ok so I've got a question. I'm going to be buying a 3rd gen here in the next couple of months more than likely a 93 or 94. I've been saving for this for a long time so I can buy the car and all the parts I want right away and start working on it. Right now I'm looking at 3 turbo kits and I just want the opinion of people that are familiar with them to tell me which would be my best bet in your opinion. No matter what I will be replacing the intake of course exhaust, getting a downpipe and a midpipe. so any way here are the three setups:

#1

Apex N1 Exhaust,

Unorthodox Main Drive Pulley,

Apex Power FC + Commander,

Greddy Front Mount Intercooler,

Midpipe,

Fuel Pump,

XS Engineering T04S Turbo Kit,

1300cc Injectors,

Greddy Profec B Boost Controller,

Greddy Pulley Set

approximately $6500

#2

The same as Number one but replace the turbos with a custom GT35/40 700hp bb turbo kit

approximately $7000

or #3

The complete PFS setup which for those that don't know includes:

Electromotive TEC 2 Engine Management

PFS Large Race Intercooler Kit

1200cc secondary injectors

Apex AVCR Boost controller

HKS Blow off valve

PFS 600hp fuel pump

PFS Race Ported Motor

T 78 Single Turbo Kit

Im not sure on the price of this one although I'm sure it's the highest. I'm calling about that soon

I'm sure I can work the prices a bit more but that's just what I've pulled so far. Anyway let me know what you guys think. Thanks

PFS setup is good for drag racing. the other two setups are better for the street. i know your driving you shouldn't get a thirdgen. if you do i'm gonna have to set the rev limiter to 3500 rpm

I'll take #2 Alex for $7000. N1's are too loud though and sound crappy, go with racing beat or m2 duals.

hey thanks guys for the help I was leaning more towards the number 2 just wanted to see what others had to say. Yeah the N1's suck and actually I just talked to the salesman at the place that offered me that package and he said I could basically swap out that exhaust for any other for around 200 since I was buying all that at the same time plus a new clutch and a few other items. Now it's just time to find the right 3rd gen. Oh and Vosko come and find me then we'll talk about setting my rev limiter

ok so do most of you run a 3" pipe or a 4"? I mean with the second setup wouldn't I benefit more from a 4"?
