not too bad for your first time out.....do not feel bad at all. those time are good. i ran a 14.2 @ <100 mph my first outing at the track.....that was embarrasing......seeing the lights all lit up and not to mention the tail lights from my buddy in his ws-6.......

Pretty soon your knees will even stop shakin!

Once that happens, you can concentrate enough to get the times. You did well for the first time out.

Get some MT ET streets.

Mickey Thompson ET Streets.

Bias belted tires. They deform a little, like slicks, so less stress on the rear end.

Pull the ABS fuse, give em about a 5 sec. burnout, rev it up, pop the clutch, hook and go. Raell good drag tires.

Worthless for the street in spite of the name, but you can drive to the track on em.

Mickey Thompson ET Streets. They're DOT approved, but not streetable at all; I wouldn't recommend driving very far on the steet with them. They have extra soft sidewalls for great, wheelhop-less launchces, but they also cause the car to be very unstable in anything but a straight line. They're basically slicks with grooves cut in them. I got a pair this winter, but teh weather hasn't allowed me to try them out. Supposedly you can dump the clutch @ ~6000 RPM and the tires'll hook w/out any problem

Oh ok, cool. I'll have to check them out.
