thanks yea vosko im having a good deal of trouble launching its hard to lock up. first gear, if i have the throttle 95%+ the wheels will break lose it sucks i dont know if its better to ease off the throttle or shift to second which isnt much better the tires break lose around 6k. its not that i have too much power just my tires suck(i had them down to 20psi for half the runs and launching improved a little)

FD3boost: yea i coulda picked a better day to go for the first time. there were a ton of people watching me and the announcer had a list of the names so u would hear them say ur name whan ur at the tree (actual example: and we've got two feirce competitors here, michael fusareio [its really fusaro but he couldnt read] in a mazda rx7 and jef blah blah blah [insert last name here] in his ford mustang gt] by that time my knees were getting weak and my mouth dry. felt a lot better after i beat him though to hear "and fusareio takes the win!" heh do urself a favor and go on a weekday on a test and tune or something. heh hopefully u wont choke and grind gears like i did.

i was thinking, i looked at my dynochart and i noticed i have more torque with my lower boost setting and more hp with the high boost the diff is something like 269tq/285hp and 254tq/297hp. do u think it would be more effectiv4e running with mroe torque in the lower boost setting? i guess ill have to give it a shot next time i head out there

555rs is not bad... it can do pretty good launches, but every once awhile they still hops

I use Mikey Thompsons now.... wonder how the BFG drag radials performs.
