hey i got to the track for the first time today. never realized how nerveracking it would be with people watching and stuff but i eased up after a few runs. i got 5 runs total first time up my reaction time was .505 but my 60' was in the 2.7 range and i wound up with a 13.8@108 second run was a little better 2.5 60' giving me a 13.6@108 third time was better with a 2.3 60' giving me a 13.2@109. the next 2 runs were in the 13.7 range both with 2.4 60's but both grinding third gear so that was a depressing way to end the night. im hoping to pick up some new tires and maybe catback by the time i get back to the track maybe i can run more consistant and i wouldnt mind breaking into the 12's which i dont think is to far fetched. anyway i was happy with my first track experience i made it to the third round of Street Battles (imports vs. domestics @raceway park)

ill get em next time

good job, I have yet to go myself.

I hate being in the spot light so I would be a nervous wreck.

not bad for the first time i guess, like i always said practice your launches on the street and prove it on the track

get the 60' under 2 secs with street tires woudl be great but takes a lot of practice

when the 60ft time drops, the 1/4 mile e.t is effected by a lot. I used to go to the 1/8 mile strips just to practice launching.

try play with the car settings, suspension and tire pressure. try launching at differnt rpm, lots of potential can be relaeased!

1.8,1.9 60ft time is not hard to get with street tires. just keep practice...

anything under 2 is good
