3700rpm works very well, I got very little spin. My clutch thanks you!

450 millimeters of mercury = 8.7015493psi on the stock gauge

(Ref: http://www.ilpi.com/msds/ref/pressureunits.html, using Torr as your units)

Cut off occurs at this number, but depending on which RX7 site you go to its different?

http://www.rx7-uk.co.uk/mycar.htm (8 psi cut on a 91)

http://www.teamfc3s.org/info/articles/fcd/diy_fcd.htm (8.6 psi cut)

from others I've heard it's about 1psi above stock. (8.5?)

The first site said the had cut out after 8psi, poor guy...

Revised my theory on launching....still going to slide the clutch a little. If it goes, nah, it's better then putting undo stress on my power train. Clutches are wear items.... but thanks anyways.

Thats cool but it's gonna cost ya. Either in time (amount to do job) or money(amount to do job). If you want to buy a new one that's up to you. I know it gives you less wheel spin but is it worth burning you clutch up every few months? Sorry dude but I don't think so. That could be because I've had to change clutches on cars where people were racing and didn't know how to launch real well and just road thier clutch a little longer to compensate. I hope for your sake that it doesn't go out on you soon. BTW I'm not implying that you don't know how to change a clutch or know what's involved in changing a clutch. Good luck.
