I finally got my 90tII to the strip last night. IMO I think there was something wrong with there trap or the track just straight sucks!!! Here are my best two runs.....

1st run VS ?

R/T .828

60' 2.411

1/8 9.821

mph 74.87

1000 12.650

1/4 15.065

mph 93.50

2nd run VS 5.0 stang

R/T 1.244 1.156

60' 2.415 2.872

1/8 9.837 10.835

mph 74.81 69.97

1000 12.683 13.855

1/4 15.096 16.383

mph 93.60 89.41

Well those were my best two runs and it got worse after that. Here are my worse two runs. Oh btw my mods are N1, profec B( 10psi), air intake, fcd, air/ fuel guage, boost guage, turbo timer. I know some of these don't increase my power but they help with answering questions.

1st run VS turbo talon AWD

R/T 1.269 1.325

60' 2.623 2.224

1/8 10.139 9.915

mph 74.60 69.80

1000 12.980 12.923

1/4 15.394 15.438

mph 93.56 89.72

2nd run vs 00 Integra GS-R

R/T .720 .868

60' 2.766 2.397

1/8 10.402 10.292

mph 73.29 69.50

1000 13.317 13.342

1/4 15.773 15.902

mph 92.08 87.69

As you can tell I'm pretty pissed off. The guy in the Integra is a friend of mine and claims to have run a 14.7 1/4 at this same track. Any help? I know where I need to lose time but I don't know how.

in my 91 TII i ran a 14.5 my first run and if i remember right a like 14.7 my second time. I havent taken it back up yet, but that was my first time to the strip so i should be able to get down to 13.9 atleast with shifting better and better tires, i squeeled a bit. My car is stock though.... so something has to be wrong here...

I really think it was the track or the humidity b/c my car has a rebuilt motor w/ only 50k on it and never gives me any problems. The other thing is they do a real shitty job of preparing this track. The only reason I go to it is b/c it is only 1 hour away compared to 4 hours to get to San Antonio's track.

Either way that is not a great # for either car. As I know the potential of both cars.

Can ya run the codes on the car and see if anything comes up?

I this works on fords but to be honest am still learning the mazda's...

Those are bad numbers for just startin at the track...you'll be in mid 14s before ya know it...you've got to find your "click"...when you've hit the light just right and you balanced enough power for the launch but not too much to sit and spin..

Sidewinder..you ran a 14.5/7 in a stock T2???? That is something to be proud of! You must be a good driver...

Can't wait til I can post my times

Sorry about the confusion on the times. When I wrote the post it was all spaced out so you could tell my times from the other guys times. Anyways my times are the ones on the left.

Sure it wasnt a V6????

Any idiot should at least be able to get a 15 out of a V8 mustang.... unless it is like a 66-70 289.....
